Abstract

Low-resource settings face significant challenges in combating emerging infectious diseases due to fragile health systems, limited infrastructure, and inadequate funding. This paper examines the multifaceted barriers impeding effective disease response in these regions and explores strategic interventions to strengthen health systems. Emphasizing the importance of integrated approaches, the study highlights the role of digital health technologies, community engagement, and international collaboration in enhancing preparedness and resilience. The findings underscore the necessity for sustained investment and policy reforms to address health disparities and improve outcomes in low-resource settings
