Copyright & License

The Bulletin of Health Services Research (BHSR) follows a clear and fair copyright policy that respects authors’ ownership while supporting the wide circulation of academic research.

Authors publishing in BHSR remain the legal copyright holders of their work. The journal does not claim ownership of published articles. Instead, authors grant BHSR a non-exclusive right to publish, store, reproduce, and distribute their manuscripts in print and digital formats.

Under this policy, authors have the right to:

  • Retain full control over their intellectual work

  • Republish their articles in books, reports, or future research

  • Use their work for teaching and academic presentations

  • Upload the final version to institutional repositories and research platforms

  • Share their publications on personal or professional websites

All articles are published under a recognized Creative Commons license (such as CC BY), which allows others to use, share, and adapt the content responsibly, provided that proper credit is given to the author(s) and the journal.

Any reuse of published material must follow the license conditions and include accurate citation.

This copyright and licensing policy ensures transparency, protects authors’ rights, and promotes ethical and responsible knowledge sharing in the academic community.
